All on Four Information

‘A full set of replacement teeth that look & feel like your own ’

What is All on Four

All on Four is an advanced dental procedure that allows immediate replacement of a full arch of teeth. It is an alternative to removable dentures. As the name suggests, four implants are used to support the entire arch of fixed teeth. Dental implants are a permanent fixed solution for missing teeth.

The All on Four prosthesis has significant advantages over more conventional methods that take six to ten implants to hold fixed bridges, and often require bone grafting.

The All on four technique allows for the placing of fewer implants, is more cost effective, usually does not require bone grafting and is easier to maintain.

It provides a solution for patients with a failing dentitions, denture patients and even those patients with severe bone loss from periodontal disease.

You now have the option to get your smile back through the All on Four procedure.

How does All-on-Four work?

The All-on-Four technique uses implants which attach to the underlying basal bone in the jaws. The two posterior implants are placed at an angle to avoid underlying anatomical structures.

We use computer guided planning before your procedure, which allows the highest level of precision, saves you time in the chair, and allows for your teeth to be made efficiently and to the highest standards. This allows us to place your new teeth very soon after the implants have been placed.

This technique can be used for both patients with some remaining teeth or patients with all teeth missing. What’s more, we are able to include an invisible framework in your new teeth, making them much stronger and long-lasting.

This procedure has virtually eliminated the need for costly and time consuming bone grafting, along with the discomfort and prolonged healing time which often accompanies it.

The All-on-4 surgery can be carried out under general or local anaesthetic, and patients do not experience pain or discomfort during the procedure The placement of dental implants is one of the most successful procedures carried out in modern dentistry.

Today, thanks to the All-on-Four technique, it is possible for patients to have non-removable teeth placed on the same day that implants are placed.

All-on-Four for Poor or Hopeless Teeth

The All on Four technique can be used to replace teeth which are loose, or decayed, or brocken down, or painful, or discoloured, or unsitely,&/or associated with bleeding gums and bad breath.

In a failing dentition all the teeth can be replaced with fixed teeth on the same day that the teeth are removed. In so doing patient’s do not have to walk around with missing teeth.

Teeth that are firm, & look and feel good, & are placed at the same time that the bad teeth in your mouth are removed
